Backpack Blessing

Join Our Lady of Mount Carmel (1008 Austin St, Portland) for a backpacking blessing on Monday, August 7 at 5:30 p.m. 

All teachers and students are invited to bring their backpacks to receive a blessing before the upcoming 2023-2024 school year. 

Backpack Blessing tags will be provided by KJZT Family Life and blessed by Fr. Piotr in the church and distributed to students. Then a free carnival with food and drinks will be hosted by the ACTS Core team, Knights of Columbus, Catholic Daughters, and Holy Family Society #118.  All students and their families are welcome to join in the fun!
