Homeless Assistance still Available

Are you 2 - 3 months behind on rent? Were you affected by COVID-19 layoffs?

Under the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA) - Homeless Housing and Services Program (HHSP), the Mother Teresa Shelter, Inc. is providing Homeless Assistance and Homeless Prevention Services.  Through  August 31, 2020, limited funds are still available, but you must act quickly.  To make an appointment or for additional information please contact  Daniel Ramirez at  (361) 218-7596, Monday – Thursday, 7:30 am - 5:00 pm.  When you call, please have the following documents available: Current Lease, Notice to Vacate, and Proof of Income.
