St. Andrew, the Apostle is one of the twelve disciples of Jesus in the New Testament.
He is mentioned in the Gospel of Matthew as fishing with his brother Simon Peter when Jesus said to them, “Come after me, and I will make you fishers of men” (Matthew 4:19).
Making the decision to follow Jesus, Andrew also is mentioned when bringing up the boy who had barley loaves and fishes during the multiplication of the loaves in the Gospel of John.
May St. Andrew help us to share the good news of Jesus Christ with our family and all people.
