Dementia Friendly Corpus Christi is an initiative that is addressing the aging population and the concurrent rise in the number of adults living with dementia. We are making our city well informed, safe and respectful of individuals with symptoms of dementia, their families and caregivers. We will provide supportive options to them to foster quality of life.
Our mission engages with community partners to educate and empower our community with information to enhance the dignity of persons living with dementia. We aim to reduce social stigma and isolation and to provide educational and supportive services to persons diagnosed with dementia, their families and their caregivers. Every part of the community plays a role in creating a dementia friendly culture. Learn more and become a friend today!
