Food, fun, live music will all follow Mass at 10:00 a.m.
Our Lady of Consolation is hosting their 110th Annual Thanksgiving Day Picnic will be held on the church grounds on Thursday, November 28, 2024, at 204 Palm Ave, Riviera (Vattmann), Texas. We serve a Traditional Style Turkey from 10:30 am - 2:00 pm and includes Turkey, Dressing, Cranberry Sauce, Mashed Potatoes, Gravy, Green Bean Salad, Cucumber Salad, Coffee, Tea, and One Dessert. The cost of the meals is Adults $22 & Children $10 for ages 10 & under. Dinners to Go are also available. During the day, there are many activities for the whole family. These include the Country Store, where you can shop for Christmas hand-painted and hand-crafted items. There are Kids' Games, Raffles, a Silent Auction, and many more other activities to round out the afternoon. To end the day, attend our Country Western Dance with entertainment by the Michael Burtts Band from 8pm-12 midnight. We ask a Donation of $15 per person for the Dance. We hope you can join us for the first time or again if you are one of our every-year families.
