Two Sisters of the Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament celebrated 25th Anniversary

Sister Treasa Jose Pannattuparamban and Sister Joemary Kallarackal, members of the Sisters of the Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament (SABS), celebrated their 25th anniversary of religious profession. They were honored with a Mass and reception at St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church in Corpus Christi, TX on Sept. 10.

Bishop Michael Mulvey was principal celebrant of the Mass, along with Pastor of St. Philip Catholic Church Fr. John Xaviour and several diocesan priests as concelebrants. 

Many members from the Sisters of the Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament (SABS) were in attendance, including their Superior General Mother Rosily Ozhukayil and Councillor Mother Ancy Mappilaparambil, who both flew in from India for the event.

Family and friends joined the Mass and celebration, providing food and music for the reception.

About the Sisters of the Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament

The Sisters of the Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament (SABS) have a convent in Corpus Christi, Texas. Their charism is  devotion to the Holy Eucharist, which consists in a life of total surrender as the result of a deep experience of Jesus' presence within our hearts.  The core of this devotion is a personal attachment to Jesus in the Holy Eucharist.

Their work includes parish ministry and faith formation, mission and evangelization, education apostolate, healing ministry, communication media and social apostolate.
