Taft parish reenacts apparition of Our Lady of Guadalupe

On Dec. 12, parishioners at Our Lady of Guadalupe at Immaculate Conception Church in Taft reenacted the apparitions of Our Lady of Guadalupe to St. Juan Diego. Kirsten Perez played the role of Our Lady of Guadalupe.

Other participants included, Estefan Tijerina as St. Juan Diego; Lionel Trevino as Juan Bernardino; Troy Luera as Bishop Zumarraga; Devin Gonzalez and Dustin Gonzalez as friars; Jon Valdez as Mendoza; Ronnie Vega as Aztec prince; Jaclyn Maldonado as Aztec princess; and Danielle Zambrano, Karlin Castillo, Stacey Fonseca and Brianna Dworske as Aztec maidens.
