Several Incarnate Word Academy students placed at this year’s Diocesan Science Fair on April 9. The Diocesan Science Fair featured science projects by Catholic schools in the Diocese of Corpus Christi.
In the elementary level fifth grader Chloe Rosales placed first and Best in Show. Others earning honors at elementary level were kindergartener Benjamin Anthony placed fourth; first grader Madison Garza placed first and Kira Luna placed fifth; second grader Kailani Dawson came in third; third grader Isabella Toth placed second; and fourth grader Gillian Lippincott also placed second.
In the middle school level, first place winners included seventh grade student Cyan Sepulveda-Guevara and eighth grader Marielle DeLa Torre. Other middle school winners included sixth graders Regan Hannigan, second place, Aamil Patel, third place and Cade Bush fifth place; seventh grader Frances Lee placed third; and eighth grader Jackson Carel placed fourth.
