Incarnate Word Academy Middle Level students created a living rosary on Oct. 26 in the school’s James R. Dougherty, Jr. Center. Students represented each bead of the rosary and recited the appropriate prayer while other students, faculty, staff, and parents participated in the devotion to the Blessed Mother Mary. This year, the annual event took place during Red Ribbon Week. Students chose to wear neon-colored clothing to send a message to others to “Be Bright” and say no to drugs. The living rosary is a meaningful example of Incarnate Word Academy’s belief in Jesus Christ, the Incarnate Word, and His message of love for the world. |
