St. John Paul II hosts breast cancer awareness walk

On Friday, Oct. 14, at 10 a.m. St. John Paul II High School will host its Third Annual Breast Cancer Awareness Walk, which will include all the students’ and staff from both Bishop Garriga Middle Preparatory School and St. John Paul II High School. The mayor’s office, along with other dignitaries, have been invited to march alongside students, teachers, staff and family cancer survivors.  


This year the Corpus Christi Fire Department's Pink Fire Truck will lead the walk The school raised close to $1,000 the last two years and hopes to raise more this year.  All funds collected will be donated to the American Cancer Society.
