St. John Paul II High School senior awarded Lew Borden Memorial Scholarship

Senior Gabriella Conklin of St. John Paul II High School receives a scholarship from the Lew Borden Memorial Scholarship Fund on Jan. 14.

Ben Borden, grandson of the man who began the scholarship fund, presented the award to Conklin after Mass in the Immaculate Conception Chapel at John Paul II High School.

The scholarship was named after a man that was touched by Catholic High School education and went on to St. Edward's College and law school to then become successful and start Borden Insurance.
