Ss. Cyril and Methodius School celebrated National Catholic Schools week with many activities. One of the activities involved elementary students pairing with early childhood students and reading to them on Jan. 31.
Other student activities during 2023 National Catholic Schools Week #NCSW include a Read-A-Thon fundraiser where students earn points; a poster contest for the 100th Day of School; an open house and Mass; a Health and Wellness Day where they compete in Coach Gonzalez’ Fitness Challenge; a Family Lunch and Saints Museum; and a STREAM project.
“Our students are challenged to use their God-given talents to achieve our academic standards and goals as they learn and grow closer to Christ each day,” said Lilly Samaniego, Principal of Ss. Cyril and Methodius. “We also offer a variety of extra-curricular activities to develop the student's mind, body and spirit, such as Robotics club, Art club, Run/Walk Club, Theater Club, Spirit Club, and participation in the Diocesan Parochial Sports League.”
