Their anniversaries ranged from 25 to 75 years.

They are Sister Dorothy Anhaiser, IWBS, who celebrates 75 years; Sister Martha O’Gara, IWBS, who celebrates 70 years; Sister Lou Ella Hickman, IWBS, who celebrates 50 years; and Sister Marilyn Springs, IWBS, who celebrates 25 years.

Renteria, PCI with the Pax Christi Institute who all celebrate 25 years.
World Day of Prayer for Consecrated Life, established by Pope John Paul II is celebrated on Feb. 2. It is also the Feast of the Presentation of the Lord, a day in which candles are blessed, symbolizing the Light of Christ.
Men and Women in consecrated life are called to spread the light and love of Jesus to the world. In his apostolic exhortation Vita Consacrata, He gave three main reasons for the institution of this day: “to thank the Lord for the great gift of consecrated life,” “to promote knowledge of and esteem for the consecrated life,” and finally so that “the consecrated persons themselves can celebrate the marvels which the Lord has accomplished in them and acquire a more vivid consciousness of their irreplaceable mission in the Church and the world.”
