Rotary Club honors St. John Paul II students of the month

The Rotary Club of Southside Corpus Christi named Kane Hellums and Cristina Hinojosa of St. John Paul II High School as students of the month on Thursday, Feb. 17. Hellums and Garcia also recently qualified for the Del Mar College First Chair Honor Band.

International Rotary Clubs are known worldwide for their community service, especially for their efforts in helping to eradicate polio, an infection caused by a virus that affects the entire body, including muscles and nerves.
