Our Lady of Guadalupe gets new altar

Bishop Michael Mulvey consecrated a new altar at Our Lady of Guadalupe in Alice on Wednesday, Feb. 25.

Father Julian Cabrera said he purchased an altar rail in Austin, made it into the altar base and placed a marble slab on top. He retrieved the relic from the old altar and placed it into the new homeade altar.
