Mother Teresa Christmas card fund raiser big success

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas - The Mother Teresa Shelter and Catholic Charities of Corpus Christi would like to say thank you everyone who helped make their recent Christmas card fundraiser a huge success. Donations included 121 tributes for loved ones as part of the campaign and more than $16,700 was raised to help the homeless in the Diocese of Corpus Christi.

The Mother Teresa Shelter is the area’s only comprehensive day shelter for the homeless. Each gift made to The Mother Teresa Shelter helps the homeless day shelter serve approximately 175 people daily. The homeless come for a place to eat, rest, clean up and care for their families; and they are treated with respect and dignity.

The Mother Teresa Shelter is located at 513 Sam Rankin St. in Corpus Christi.
