Marjorie Jane Mulvey, mother of Bishop Michael Mulvey died today in Corpus Christi

Marjorie Jane (Patterson) Mulvey, mother of Bishop Michael Mulvey, Bishop of Corpus Christi died today, July 14, in Corpus Christi where she lived for the past two-and-a-half-years.

Mrs. Mulvey will be received at 9 a.m. on Thursday, July 16, at Corpus Christi Cathedral, 505 North Upper Broadway, for a time of public viewing. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m.

A Funeral Vigil will be held on Thursday evening at 7:30 p.m. at Earthman’s Funeral Home, Hunter Creek, 8303 Katy Freeway, Houston. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday, July 17, at 10 a.m. at St. Cecilia’s Catholic Church, 11720 Joan of Arc Drive, in Houston. Burial will be at 2 p.m. at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery, 6900 Lawndale Street, in Houston.
