Lady Angels win second TAPPS Area Playoff Game

The Incarnate Word Academy varsity girls’ basketball team defeated San Antonio Christian Academy 54-49 in their second TAPPS 5A Area Playoff Game on Saturday, Feb. 24.

The Lady Angels will compete in their third round playoff game against the winner of the Corpus Christi St. John Paul II High School vs. Houston Second Baptist School game.

Leading into the playoffs, the Lady Angels were ranked fourth in the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches poll.
