Lady Angels Place at TAPPS State Cross Country Meet

The Lady Angels earned second place at the TAPPS State Cross Country Meet on Oct. 31 in Waco. Junior Natalie Trevino finished in sixth place (15:28.4) — making the top 10. The Angels finished in seventh place at the state meet. The boys’ top finisher was junior Jacob Gonzalez. He received 12th place (21:03.5).

The varsity and junior varsity girls’ cross country teams both earned first place at the TAPPS District Cross Country Meet on Oct. 17. The junior varsity boys’ team earned third place and varsity boys’ team received fourth place.

At the district meet, Jacob Gonzalez, Stevan Silva, Natalie Trevino, Remy Ellison, and Anna Simank received All-District honors.
