Deacon Mark Shine and fellow parishioner Harry Phillips from St. Charles Borromeo Knights of Columbus Council #13238 in Tacoma, Washington did not hesitate to swing into action after Hurricane Harvey made landfall in the Diocese of Corpus Christi. Within hours, leaders with the Tacoma Knights of Columbus had mobilized to gather cash donations from generous parishioners to purchase items most in need by the communities in South Texas hit hardest.
