IWA Elementary Level students welcome grandparents

Incarnate Word Academy Elementary Level held an assembly to welcome grandparents to IWA campus on Sept. 5. School statues of Sts. Joachim and Ann, Jesus' maternal grandparents, were blessed.

Students recited poetry and performed a short skit for all in attendance. The assembly was held in the Convent Chapel of the Sisters of the Incarnate Word and Blessed Sacrament in celebration of Grandparents Day.

After the assembly, grandparents perused the IWA Elementary Level-Traditional and Montessori classrooms to view their grandchildren's work.
