CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas – Incarnate Word Academy Alumni and current families and friends gathered in the James R. Dougherty, Jr. Center to celebrate the annual All Saints Day Mass which is being combined with a Memorial tribute this year.
In celebration of All Saint's Day, elementary students dressed as saints and entered a special procession. Students learned about the incredible lives of saints and enjoyed portraying them at Mass. Guests saw a child's version of St. Mary, St. Joseph, St. Francis, St. Michael the Archangel, St. Mother Teresa, and many more.
Additionally, members of the IWA community who have suffered a loss in the previous year remembered their loved ones during a candlelight procession at the beginning of Mass. Celebrating the lives of their loved ones together among the Sisters of the Incarnate Word and Blessed Sacrament and the IWA family was a special comfort and blessing.
