Attendees at the Incarnate Word Academy 2012 Benefit Gala helped raise more than $140,000 for the Academy’s Educational Initiative Fund.
The Gala, held March 3 at the Solomon P. Ortiz Center, was transformed into a lush Cuban nightclub. Guests for the 2012 Annual Incarnate Word Academy Benefit Gala were whisked away to a “Night in Havana.”
More than 525 guests attended the Gala, which included a live and silent auction, and the big hit of the evening, a special Children’s Artwork Auction.
Honorary Chairpersons, Kimberley and Bernard Seger, M.D., were recognized for twenty years of commitment, dedication, and support of the Academy. IWA President Charles D. Imbergamo presented the Segers with a beautiful Wilhelmi designed plate to commemorate the occasion.
Co-Chairpersons, Paulette Guajardo and Amy Koch, thanked those attending as well as their hard-working committee members for their support and commitment to the mission of Incarnate Word Academy.
Guests wrapped up the evening dancing to a mix of salsa and jazz performed live by the popular band Latin Talk.
