CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas –Incarnate Word Academy’s 2013 Gala Committee gathered Thursday, Sept. 27, at the home of Tara Hoelscher to unveil plans for the 2013 Moonlight Masquerade Gala. Hosted by the Gala Entertainment Committee co-chairs, Tara Hoelscher and Chrissy Braugh, the kick-off meeting focused on the gala’s importance to the Incarnate Word Academy Annual Giving Program.
Incarnate Word Academy President, Charles Imbergamo challenged the committee to raise $150,000 towards the program’s goal of $425,000. The annual giving program provides unrestricted funds that are used to provide tuition assistance, professional development and incentives for faculty, facility maintenance and improvements, and technology enhancements.
Gala co-chairs, Catherine Tobin and Shawn Groesbeck, and honorary chairs Marcy and Cornelius Hayes III, were commended for their commitment to leading the committee in this most important mission.
Imbergamo said he is pleased to see such a “wonderful mix” of parents, grandparents and Incarnate Word Academy alumni participating in the effort. The gala is scheduled for Saturday, March 2, 2013, at 6 p.m. at the Congressman Solomon P. Ortiz International Center.
