Students of Holy Family School celebrated the National Education Association’s 18th Annual Read Across America Day on Monday, March 2. Students dressed up as their favorite Dr. Seuss character.
KIII 3News personality Sarah Acosta read Dr. Seuss' classic, "Green Eggs and Ham," to the students.
"The students enjoyed her animated reading style and it just showed how much fun reading can be," said Tony Lopez III, the school's Director of Marketing & Stewardship.
The students performed a dance encouraging everyone to pick up a book and read. March 2 is Dr. Seuss’ birthday.
