Golfers tee off for benefit of IWA sports

September 14, 2012CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas – The Incarnate Word Academy Booster Club is hosting a golf tournament on Saturday, Sept. 15, at the North Shore Country Club in Portland.
Tee off for the IWA All Sports Golf Tournament will be at 1 p.m., and the awards dinner will be at 5:30 p.m. All proceeds of the tournament will benefit the Incarnate Word Academy Athletic Program.
“The IWA All Sports Golf Tournament is a perfect example of how Incarnate Word Academy strives to provide a community where all may grow in Christian wholeness and bear witness to the presence and love of Christ among us,” Dominique Damian, Media Relations specialist for IWA said.
