The Coastal Bend Community Foundation (CBCF) announces the 2014 Annual Grants online open May 1, and closing June 15. Grant writers for area nonprofits are encouraged to visit the Foundation’s Web site at www.cbcfoundation.org and select “Grants” at the top of the home page or refer to the “Latest News” link for Annual Grants.
The Annual Grants program expects to award up to $800,000 in 2014 to support projects in the Foundation’s seven-county service area of Aransas, Bee, Jim Wells, Kleberg, Nueces, Refugio and San Patricio. Nonprofit agencies are encouraged to apply for grants in the broad categories of animals, arts, education, elderly, environmental, food, health, human services, public good, shelter and youth.
CBCF will host a seminar on Wednesday, May 21 at 10 a.m. at the Del Mar Center for Economic Development, Room 106, to review the grant process and answer questions from representatives of nonprofits wanting to apply to the 2014 program. If planning to attend, please e-mail an RSVP to [email protected].
