Spectacular Sea
By Anika Smith
Into the ocean, under the sea,
Is a world unknown to you and me.
First in the rock pools, with a flick and a swish,
An epaulette shark, sea stars, and fish.
Near the surface, coral reef is on top,
Trigger, parrot, and clownfish wiggle and pop.
Swim deeper down, and among the seagrass,
Barracudas like silver and redfish like brass.
Slip down a bit deeper, at the ocean floor,
Crabs scuttle by, and manta rays soar.
Fish, life, plants and water swirl,
In the ocean, a vast and beautiful world.
