CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas–The Texas Health Care Quality Improvement Awards honored CHRISTUS Spohn Hospital Corpus Christi and CHRISTUS Spohn Hospital Alice on May 24 for notable gains on key components of patient care and treatment.
TMF Health Quality Institute, the Medicare Quality Improvement Organization for Texas, established the awards program in partnership with other state medical organizations as a way to recognize hospitals that are active in quality improvement.
Earlier this month, CHRISTUS Spohn accepted the Texas Health Care Quality Improvement Bronze Award during a special ceremony in Austin
The recognition indicates the priority and dedication to Core Measures by the CHRISTUS Spohn Health System. Core Measures are a set of national standardized performance measurements. More importantly the improved results indicated best practice and care for our patients.
