Catholic Charities and Mother Teresa Shelter will limit services due to COVID-19

Catholic Charities of Corpus Christi and Mother Teresa Shelter have limited some services and suspended other programs that could endanger the public. These are the latest updates to the services offered by Catholic Charities of Corpus Christi and Mother Teresa Shelter due to the coronavirus (COVID-19).
 

• Emergency Aid and Immigration Services by appointment only. All consultations for new clients will be by appointment only.  Walk-ins for new clients will not occur until further notice.  Please call 361-884-0651 Ext. 233 to schedule an appointment for new clients to consult.   
• Financial Assistance, Choice Pantry, and SNAP Benefit clients will need to schedule an appointment. We will not accept walk-ins during this time. Financial Assistance days are Tuesday and Wednesday. Choice Pantry days are Monday- Thursday. No appointments will be available between 12:30-1 p.m. Please bring a reusable bag to put food in when using the new food pantry drive-thru set-up in the warehouse. Cancellation Notices

• The Ministry & Life Enrichment for Persons with Disabilities have suspended all programs for the month of March. Please call (361) 884-0651 Ext. 249 for more information. The Ministry & Life Enrichment for Persons with Disabilities Program has announced the 2020 Father Walsh Summer Camp, which was scheduled for June 12 and 13, 2020, has been postponed until further notice.  Please stay safe and healthy.  Remember - Jesus’ power will pull us through!
• The Parents as Teachers March Parent Cafe has been cancelled.
• Notice – Mother Teresa Shelter: Until March 31st, the main day room, showers and laundry facilities are temporarily closed due to COVID-19.  We are offering breakfast at 8:00 am and lunch at 11:00 am in the form of take-out meals. Thank you for your patience.

No aceptaremos clientes sin cita previa. Los días de Ayuda Financiera son los martes y miércoles. Los días de Choice Pantry son de lunes a jueves. No habrá citas disponibles de 12:30p.m. a 1:00 p.m. Cuando use la despensa Choice, traiga una bolsa reutilizable para colocar los alimentos.
• AVISO – Servicios de Inmigración serán solo por cita
  Todas las consultas para clientes nuevos serán solo con cita previa.  Clientes sin cita no serán vistos hasta nuevo aviso.

• El Café de Padres y Maestros March Parent: ha sido cancelado.
• Aviso - Refugio Madre Teresa: hasta el 31 de marzo, la sala principal, las duchas y las instalaciones de lavandería están temporalmente cerradas debido a COVID-19. Ofrecemos desayuno a las 8:00 a.m. y almuerzo a las 11:00 a.m. en forma de comidas para llevar. Gracias por su paciencia.
