Broken Chains Recovery Ministry celebrated its seventh anniversary on Aug. 12 at the Molina Neighborhood Center, 614 Horne Rd. The main topic of discussion was the need for a larger air-conditioned facility where the group can meet seven-days a week.
"Since our classroom only seats about 20 people we had to move into the 100-degree gym," program director Robert Reed said.
Reed expressed appreciation to Father Bob Dunn and parishioners of Most Precious Blood for their continued support.
"God is still transforming lives from addiction to productive members of society," Reed said.
