On Sept. 20, The Cardinal Newman Society named Blessed John Paul II High School in Corpus Christi as one of the seven schools recognized for its excellence in Catholic Identity. “This honor is a reflection of our dedicated faculty who continue to instill high morals and values to each student at Blessed John Paul II High School,” school principal Perry LeGrange said.
Since 2004, the Honor Roll has recognized the top 50 Catholic high schools across the United States in excellence in Catholic identity, academics and civic education. In addition to the top 50 schools that achieve excellence in all three categories, The Cardinal Newman Society recognizes other schools receive special recognition in specific categories.
This year seven schools, including Blessed John Paul II, were recognized for excellence in Catholic identity, six schools for academics, five schools for civic education and five additional schools for two of the three categories.
