Bishop Mulvey celebrates
Mass of Annunciation, Incarnation

Bishop Michael Mulvey celebrated Mass for the Solemnity of the Annunciation of the Lord and the Incarnation on April 4 at Incarnated Word Academy. The campuswide Mass was held in the school’s Mother Patricia Gunning Gymnasium.

In addition to the celebration of the Solemnity of the Annunciation of the Lord and the Incarnation, the Sisters of the Incarnate Word and Blessed Sacrament renewed their vows during Mass.

The Solemnity of the Annunciation usually falls on March 25, but since this year the date fell during Holy Week, the celebration of the Annunciation transferred to the day after Divine Mercy Sunday.

Grandparents, benefactors, faculty and staff were invited to Mass and a reception was held in the high school level's senior lounge.
