Bishop announces appointments

For the good of the people and the Diocese of Corpus Christi, Bishop Michael Mulvey has made the following appointments:

• Father Emilio Jimenez, Pastor of St. Peter, Prince of the Apostle Parish in Corpus Christi effective July 1.
• Father Frank Martinez, Pastor of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish in Corpus Christi effective July 7.
• Father Tom Goodwin, Administrator of Immaculate Conception Parish in Skidmore and St. Francis Xavier Mission in Tynan effective July 1.
• Father James Vasquez, Administrator of St. Mary Star of the Sea Parish in Aransas Pass effective July 1.
• Father Varghese Ethappiri, Parochial Vicar of St. Patrick Parish in Corpus Christi and completing his CPE training at the end of August. This appointment is effective immediately.
