Booster club hosts AngelFest

Incarnate Word Academy’s campus-wide booster club hosted its annual AngelFest on Saturday, Nov. 7. Guests were invited to put on their “boots and britches” for this western-themed event.

The evening featured a barbeque dinner, silent and live auctions and entertainment by "The Deadbeats." In addition, there was a mechanical bull-riding contest.

The live auction included items such as Spurs baseline seats for two with a one-night stay, Coach Casper Wenzel’s "famous" rib eye steak supper for 10 couples, guided fishing trip and more. All proceeds from the event benefit the IWA athletic department.
