The Vicar General serves as Moderator of the Curia and coordinates the exercise of administrative responsibilities and sees that the other members of the curia duly fulfill the office entrusted to them.
Msgr. Louis Kihneman, III serves as Vicar General and Moderator of the Curia. Msgr. Kihneman also heads the Secretariat for Administration & Stewardship, which includes the Fiscal Office, Human Resources, Office of Parish Stewardship, and Propaganda Fide. Msgr. Kihneman also supervises the Secretariat for Pastoral Activities, which includes the Evangelization and Catechesis Department, Catholic Charities and the Office of Catholic Schools.
Additionally, he oversees the work of the various diocesan councils, such as the Priest Pension Plan, PBEF, Stewardship, and the Building Commission.
